Description

Maple is a caterpillar who loves her treetop home and asks questions about everything she sees. When the world around her begins to change, from rainy skies to falling leaves to a friend spinning a cocoon, Maple starts to wonder why nothing stays the same. As Maple notices and learns about changes within her world, she goes through some big changes herself… and young readers are invited to wonder right along with her about what she might become.

Written for children ages 3–5, this light-hearted story introduces different reasons for change and helps show that it’s not as scary as it seems. It’s a perfect read for families navigating new routines, growing up, or moments when change feels a little big.

Maple and the Big Question About Change is the first book in the Maple’s Questions series, created to help young children explore life’s big questions through observation, curiosity, and gentle storytelling.
